Wire drawing method of wire drawing machine

Sep 09, 2020

The drawing machine needs to do a good job of lubrication during the drawing process. On the one hand, it is to improve the drawing effect, and on the other hand, it is to control the temperature to prevent oxidation. There are mainly three common wire drawing lubrication methods for wire drawing machines, which are a single die slot dispersion lubrication, immersion lubrication and circulating lubrication system.

Among them, a single die groove dispersed lubrication is mainly used for a non-sliding accumulation type multi-die wire drawing machine, and it has no restriction on the form of the lubricant. The circulating water in the mold groove plays a role of cooling. Since the mold groove is open, the lubricant can be directly observed for easy adjustment.

Immersion lubrication adopts emulsion strong and liquid oily lubricant, which is suitable for sliding continuous wire drawing machine. The lubricant is contained in the special tank of the wire drawing machine, and the drum, line segment, and die are all immersed in the lubricant. The structure is simple and can ensure continuous lubrication and cooling of the die, drum and wire.

On the sliding continuous wire drawing machine, it is ensured that the lubricating fluid has a fixed composition and a certain temperature. It can be used in a single machine or in a centralized use of several stainless steel wire drawing machines. Its advantage is that the metal chips in the lubricating fluid can be fully precipitated and cleaned regularly to ensure the cleanliness of the lubricating fluid.

The operation of the wire drawing machine is relatively simple, and the operator only needs to place the object to be polished on the corresponding fixture in advance. Fix the fixture on the worktable of the automatic polishing machine. Start the automatic wire drawing machine, the wire drawing machine completes the polishing work within the set time, and automatically stops, just unload the object from the workbench.
